About the event

Myofascial Release is a gentle, powerful bodywork approach which focusses on our fascia - the 3D continuous suit of tissue which encases all of our other bodily systems. If fascia becomes stressed by physical injury or emotional or psychological trauma, it tightens forming areas of restriction in the body.  It feels like a straight jacket. Fascia restrictions can exert crushing pressure on our nerves, arteries, muscles, organs, joints etc, leading to many common ailments. Fascia also stores suppressed trauma, so MFR can really unlock that mind-body connection. MFR is great for postural rebalancing, chronic pain conditions, anxiety & trauma, injury rehabilitation and scar tissue remediation.

These tasters are a chance to experience the deep effect of John Barnes' Myofascial Release in your own body and to discuss with Tim any questions you might have about how the treatment approach might help you or a friend or family member.

MFR is performed on dry skin, so Tim's advice is to NOT use any moisturisers or sun creams on the day and to wear shorts, vest tops, sports bras during treatment.

More info on MFR available on Tim's site www.pressuresensitive.co.uk/treatments

Please note a booking charge of £4 will be charged at the time of booking but will be refunded once the booking has been attended, there will also be an opportunity to donate your booking fee to the charity Winston's Wish should you wish to.
