Yoga Alliance Teacher Training The Nook
200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at The Nook Starting March 2026 – Hybrid Format Our next Yoga Alliance Certified 200-Hour Teacher Training (YTT) begins March 2026 at The NOOC Studios in Tewkesbury. Following the success of our 2025 training (where we proudly graduated six wonderful new teachers!), this year’s course promises another inspiring, in-depth journey into the art and science of yoga. ________________________________________ What “Hybrid” Means This training blends in-studio weekends with online learning, designed to fit around your lifestyle while maintaining the depth and quality of in-person training. You’ll study using a dedicated online dashboard created by our partner, the Online Yoga School, where you’ll find lectures, videos, and assignments. Each month, you’ll join us in the studio for one immersive weekend of hands-on learning — exploring practice, teaching skills, and group study. If you can’t attend a particular weekend, some sessions may be completed online — but this must be discussed in advance to ensure your progress and certification remain on track. ________________________________________ Course Overview This 200-hour program is fully approved by Yoga Alliance, the international body that sets global standards for yoga teacher training. Graduating from a Yoga Alliance Registered School means you can confidently teach yoga worldwide and join the Yoga Alliance directory as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). ________________________________________ Modules You’ll Study Throughout the nine-month journey, we’ll explore key areas that form the foundation of skilled, mindful yoga teaching: • Yoga Philosophy – including the Eight Limbs of Yoga and the path toward balance and self-awareness. • Anatomy & Physiology – understanding the body in motion and how yoga supports alignment, strength, and safety. • Asana & Adjustments – exploring postures, hands-on assists, and intelligent sequencing. • Teaching Methodology – learning how to guide others with confidence and authenticity. • Pranayama & Meditation – connecting breath and awareness. • Literature & Self-Study – engaging with essential yoga texts and recommended readings throughout your training. ________________________________________ Training Schedule The training runs March to November 2026, with weekend sessions held on the last weekend of each month.
