What's Happening?
The name really shows what this is about – finding wellness as well as finding your happy weight (not BMI but a weight you can manage to maintain). These are on an 8-week rolling programme following a booklet that Helen has created. There is a weigh-in, about 45 minutes of exercise and a little chat around nutrition and using the booklet. There are exercises to do at home in between sessions. The booklet covers such areas as finding out what makes you tick, why you should exercise even when you can be bothered and that demon, Emotional Eating. Emotional Eating is such a big area that there will be on-line workshops covering this in more detail. The exercise sessions are based around mixed conditioning, using HIIT training, small weights and are mostly done in a circuit, but sometimes I like to mix it up as we know that doing the same thing all of the time gives you the same results!
