About the event Each week you’ll be guided step-by-step through a new arrangement style, learning essential techniques such as conditioning flowers, selecting colours and textures, building structure, and finishing your designs beautifully. You’ll leave every class with a fresh floral creation to take home and enjoy. No experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy a calm, welcoming atmosphere with refreshments provided. ✨ What you’ll learn: 15th Feb - Gift Wrap Bouquet In the first week of our floral design journey, we will focus on creating a stunning Gift Wrap Bouquet. This project is perfect for beginners and allows for creativity in both flower selection and wrapping techniques. Participants will learn how to choose a variety of fresh flowers, considering factors such as colour, texture, and seasonal availability. 22nd Feb - Hand-Tied Bouquet During the second week, we will delve into the art of the Hand-Tied Bouquet. Participants will learn the essential techniques for hand-tying flowers, including how to select the right stems that complement each other. 1st March - Posy Arrangement In the third week, we will focus on the charming Posy Arrangement. This style is characterised by its compact and rounded shape, making it a popular choice for table centrepieces or small gifts. Participants will learn how to select a harmonious mix of flowers and foliage that work well together in a tight arrangement. We will cover techniques for creating a sturdy base and how to position flowers to achieve a full and lush appearance. 8th March - Triangle Arrangement Finally, in the fourth week, we will explore the elegant Triangle Arrangement. This style is known for its geometric shape and symmetry, making it a sophisticated choice for more formal occasions. Participants will learn about the principles of balance and proportion as they create a triangular form using a variety of flowers and greenery. Cancellation Policy
NOOK YOGA RETREAT & CRAFT SOCIAL/WORKSHOP POLICY Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule: If you cancel 30 days onwards before your retreat start date, You will forfeit 50% of the price of your event. If you cancel 15 – 29 days before your retreat start date, You will forfeit 60% of the price of your event. If you cancel 14 days or less before your event start date, you will forfeit your entire payment. Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. Please note these cancellation terms are for workshops, retreats socials, and events and do not include Yoga Classes. Yoga classes can not under any circumstances be refunded but can be rescheduled to another date if agreed with The Nook and canceled within 24 hours of the class time and date.
